FULL ARCH IMPLANTS

Full arch implants completely restore function and aesthetics for patients who have lost all teeth in one or both arches, resulting in a life-altering effect on their quality of life.

STRATEGIC USE OF BONE

Treatment is designed to make strategic use of the patient's jawbone: implants are placed where there is sufficient bone to provide a secure foundation, and in cases where the patient has lost bone mass due to wearing dentures, because the jawbone naturally recedes when it is not supporting tooth roots, the fixtures may be placed at an angle to maximise the available bone.

SKILLED CRAFTMANSHIP

Once the implant fixtures are in place, the patient will wear interim bridges for a few months, until the implants have fused with the bone and are ready to support the permanent bridges. Our supporting dental laboratories fabricate these to a high standard using deft craftsmanship.

WHAT OCCURS DURING THE CONSULTATION PROCESS FOR FULL ARCH IMPLANTS?

An experienced implant surgeon will conduct a thorough evaluation of each patient, listening to their concerns and developing a clear picture of what they hope to accomplish. The clinician will discuss the patient's tooth loss and provide examples of similar cases that have been treated. The patient will leave with an understanding of all available options and the ability to select a detailed treatment plan that has been tailored to their specific requirements.

HOW TO MAINTAIN FOR FULL ARCH IMPLANTS

We advise patients to see a hygienist every three to six months for a thorough cleaning and to visit an experienced implant dentist annually or biannually for checkups. As with natural teeth, daily brushing and flossing is recommended, and the hygienist will provide specific instructions. After receiving dental implants, all patients receive a dental hygiene instruction appointment to ensure they understand how to care for their significant investment.
