DERMAL FILLERS

As we age, we produce fewer of the proteins that keep skin rigid, volumised, and supported. This causes the skin to appear less full, and as the skin loses tension, wrinkles appear.

WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?

Dermal fillers are injectable agents used to make the epidermis appear fuller and more youthful. The dermal filler we use is an injectable gel-like form of hyaluronic acid. This substance occurs naturally in the human body and is readily metabolised over time.

In contrast to Botox, hyaluronic acid is unregulated and can be purchased by anyone. However, hyaluronidase, the enzyme that degrades hyaluronic acid, is only available to physicians, dentists, and pharmacies. This enzyme is used in the clinic to rectify improperly or unethically administered filler treatments.

It is common for filler treatment to be administered by individuals with inadequate training. These individuals are frequently willing to perform hazardous and unethical procedures. You can only guarantee the safety of your filler treatment if it is administered by a dentist or doctor who is medically trained in aseptic procedure, facial morphology, and administering facial injections.

HOW DO DERMAL FILLERS WORK?

They enhance the appearance of the epidermis by adding volume and providing support from below. Restoring the skin's lost tension reduces the appearance of fine lines and creases.
