ALL ON 4

All On 4 enables the placement of a full set of permanent teeth using only four dental implants per arch. It is appropriate for patients who struggle with loose dentures, sizable gaps, or failing natural teeth.

THIS TREATMENT'S RESULTS ARE OFTEN LIFE-CHANGING DUE TO ALL ON 4:

Prevents or reverses the ageing effect tooth loss can have on the face Provides convenience — the patient receives new teeth the same day Is cost-effective, typically eliminating the need for bone augmentation. Is nearly harmless before, during, and after the procedure.

PREVENTING BONE LOSS

When a tooth is lost, the bone it was anchored to becomes unnecessary and begins to resorb. Patients can lose as much as a quarter of the width of their mandible bone ridge within a year, and when all teeth are gone, the facial structure will likely have a noticeable ageing effect.

PREVENTING THE AGEING EFFECT

Without a solution involving dental implants for multiple tooth loss, the visage can significantly alter. The adverse side effects may include:

Facial height diminishes, making the nose appear larger, and vertical lines on the face can deepen, whereas the definition of the lips flattens as the bite deteriorates. Apart from storing up future problems with headaches and jaw and neck pain, this can create a permanent scowl expression, even when at rest; the chin rotating forward, which in combination with the protruding nose can produce a so-called "witch's chin" appearance; muscles in the lower jaw being affected, creating jowls as the tissue sags; loss of tone in muscles around the mouth and a prominent upper lip; and the appearance of more wrinkles around the mouth.

STABLE AND BEAUTIFUL

The clinician will assess the quantity of available bone and inquire about the patient's surgical preferences. All On 4 may be recommended to patients who wish to minimise surgery and avoid sinus lifts, have significant gaps, failing teeth, or have been wearing full dentures. All On 4 treatments eliminate the need for sinus lifts because implants are angled into the jawbone.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING ALL ON 4 TREATMENT?

The implants are dispersed across the dental arch to distribute the load on the case- and patient-specific fixtures. This treatment is also known as "teeth in a day" because the patient leaves the office with a complete set of new teeth attached to their implants on the same day that failing teeth are extracted and implants are placed.

These teeth are temporary fixed restorations that restore confidence and the ability to consume while allowing the jawbone to fuse around the implants. After approximately three months, when the bone has completely recovered, new implant bridges can be fabricated.
